Millikan High School senior Jason Parra recently won the boys' Division I title at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) state cross-country championships. He also became Millikan’s first cross-country runner to win a state title.
Long Beach Unified School District Deputy Superintendent Dr. Tiffany Brown was announced as one of seven members of the City of Long Beach’s new Police Oversight Commission during Mayor Rex Richardson’s recent State of the City address on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Dr. Brown’s involvement will pave the way for 菠菜网lol正规平台 to have a voice on safety matters in Long Beach. As an appointed commissioner, Dr. Brown will play a vital role in bringing transparency, change and growth to the City’s police services by providing input on public safety trends and gathering feedback from the community to ensure all voices are heard and considered.
